The Mad Men are returning

Mad Men, a term which is referred to the advertising executives of the Madison Avenue in New York City in the 1960′s, which is also a popular and one of the greatest American period dramas ever. Mad men premiered on 19th July, 2007 and since then it has won many awards including Emmys and Golden Globes. Centerpiece of the drama is Donald Draper (played by Jon Hamm) who is a creative director at one of the prestigious advertising firms of New York City. The screenplay revolves around his life and the people in his life which, in fact, is an exact picture of the ups and downs of an ideal executive life. Moreover, drama successfully depicts the changing moods and societal mores of the United States in 1960′s. The San Francisco Chronicle described series as ‘stylized, visually arresting, an adult drama of introspection and the inconvenience of modernity in a man’s world’.
